Challenge
Starvara needed a website that could serve as the central hub for their Web3 battle royale game while communicating complex play-to-earn mechanics and staking rewards in a way that appealed to both crypto natives and traditional gamers.
The game offers fast-paced PvP and PvE combat where players earn VRX tokens through gameplay and can stake them in a companion DApp for USDT rewards. The website had to explain this ecosystem clearly without overwhelming visitors with blockchain jargon. It also needed to showcase tournament information, including the $10,000 USDT Grand Tournament, game modes, and download links for both Android and iOS platforms.
The visual challenge was capturing the game's galactic, futuristic atmosphere while maintaining fast load times and responsive design. Every element had to reinforce the Starvara brand while guiding users toward downloading the game or connecting to the staking DApp.
Solution
I designed and developed the Starvara website from concept to completion, starting with comprehensive Figma wireframes and prototypes that mapped out the entire user journey. The visual design was refined in Photoshop to capture the game's galactic, futuristic aesthetic before moving into Webflow development.
The site features dynamic hero sections that showcase tournament information and game modes, with clear explanations of staking mechanics and VRX token utility. Each section was designed to guide visitors through the ecosystem, from understanding the play-to-earn model to accessing download links for Android and iOS. The information architecture prioritises clarity, making blockchain concepts accessible without dumbing them down.
Webflow implementation ensured fast load times and responsive design across all devices. Smooth animations enhance the immersive experience while maintaining performance. The site seamlessly integrates with the companion DApp, providing clear pathways for players who want to stake their VRX tokens for USDT rewards from the ecosystem reward pool.
